E-Commerce Business Analyst

As an E-Commerce Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing our clients' e-commerce operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions that drive growth, enhance customer experience, and optimize operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that align with our clients' business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of clients' e-commerce business processes to identify inefficiencies, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for e-commerce initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Market Research: Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the e-commerce space.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to provide actionable insights. Develop and present reports and dashboards that inform strategic decision-making.
Solution Design and Implementation: Work with project managers and technical teams to design and implement e-commerce solutions that meet business requirements and enhance customer experience.
User Experience (UX) Optimization: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure e-commerce platforms are user-friendly, accessible, and optimized for conversion.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of e-commerce initiatives against key performance indicators (KPIs), making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and progress.
Change Management: Support change management efforts by developing training materials and conducting workshops to facilitate the adoption of new e-commerce solutions and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on e-commerce or digital retails.
In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Hyrbis, BigCommerce, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce) and digital marketing strategies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights.
Strong understanding of UX principles and how they impact e-commerce performance and customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CRM and ERP systems integration.
Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
